Full-drill landscape diamond art
$32.95
A glassy turquoise alpine lake with a timber cabin on the jetty, wooden rowboats and pine-covered peaks behind. This landscape diamond art kit includes a sticky canvas, sorted drills, a pen, a tray and wax.
Expected delivery Fri, Nov 6 to Wed, Nov 11
A full-drill printed canvas with adhesive under a protective film, resin drills sorted into numbered bags, a drill pen, a tray, a wax pad and instructions.
Printed canvas with a pre-applied adhesive layer, and resin drills. Keep the finished piece out of strong sun, dust it with a soft dry brush and never wash it. Press any loose drill back into place with the pen.
Lay the canvas flat under a few heavy books for a day if it has creases. Peel back only a strip of film at a time, keep the rest covered so the adhesive stays tacky, and work under a bright, even light.

Steep gray mountains rise on both sides of a long alpine lake, with cloud drifting over the peaks and dark pine forest running down to the water. On the left shore a timber cabin stands on a covered jetty, wooden rowboats rest on the still surface, and the whole scene is mirrored in the lake. In the foreground the water turns glassy turquoise over rounded stones and fallen leaves.
It is a picture with a lot going on, which is what makes it fun to fill: the sky and the water are calm runs of blue, the forest is a rich mix of greens, and the cabin and boats come together in warm browns at the end.
The canvas is landscape format. 16 x 20 in (40 x 50 cm) comes with round drills. 18 x 24 in (45 x 60 cm) and 20 x 28 in (50 x 70 cm) come with round or square drills and show much more detail in the reflections and the stones under the water.
Round drills catch the light from every side and forgive a slightly crooked placement, so they are the easy choice for a first canvas. Square drills sit edge to edge with no gaps, which gives a smoother, more painted look, but each one needs to line up with its neighbors. The canvas size and the picture are the same either way.
We base these on the canvas area and a relaxed pace of 800 to 1,500 drills an hour, color changes included. A first canvas usually takes a little longer, and you can stop for days as long as the film covers the part you have not reached.
Frames are not included; the photo of the living room shows the finished canvas framed for display. A slim natural wood frame suits the cabin and the pines.
Delivery is $6.95, and free on orders from $49. The delivery estimate for your address shows on this page and at checkout. You can return the kit within 30 days of delivery; return shipping is yours unless it arrives faulty or wrong. See delivery and returns for the details, or compare the other diamond art kits.
16 x 20 in (40 x 50 cm) is the quickest at about 18 to 32 hours. 18 x 24 in and 20 x 28 in take longer and show far more detail in the reflections and the stones under the water.
Round drills sparkle more and forgive a slightly crooked placement. Square drills, offered from 18 x 24 in (45 x 60 cm), fit edge to edge for a smoother, more painted look.
Yes. Diamond art needs no drawing or counting: you match each symbol on the canvas to its numbered bag of drills. The big runs of sky and water make an easy start before the detailed shoreline.
