This is a diamond painting kit for anyone who wants to start the craft without a steep learning curve. The skill level is first-timer, so the canvas is printed and ready to work on. You place round resin diamonds onto the canvas with the applicator tool. The pasting area is full, which means the whole picture gets covered in diamonds. The finished piece has a smooth, sparkly surface that catches light from across the room.
The materials are simple: resin diamonds and a printed canvas. Nothing else is needed to get started beyond a flat work surface and good light.
| Finished size | Pasting area | Diamond shape | Colors |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12 x 16 in (30 x 40 cm) | Full | Round | 30 to 45 |
In the box: printed canvas, round resin diamonds, applicator tool.
The 12 x 16 in (30 x 40 cm) size is easy to hold on your lap or set on a table. It fits a standard frame if you want to display it later.
Five designs are available:
Each design uses 30 to 45 colors. The color range gives the sky and landscape depth, with small shifts between nearby shades. Round diamonds are forgiving for a first project because they sit close together and fill the canvas evenly.
Set the canvas on a flat surface. The printed symbols show where each color goes. Pour a small amount of one color into a tray or dish. Touch the applicator tool to a diamond so it lifts and sticks to the tip. Place it on the matching symbol and press gently. Work in small sections, one color at a time, so you do not mix up the symbols.
If a diamond lands in the wrong spot, lift it with the tool and move it. Keep the cover sheet over the parts you are not working on so the adhesive stays clean. When you finish a section, smooth the diamonds with a flat card or your hand.
Once the canvas is full, press down over the whole surface to seat the diamonds. If you plan to frame it, take the finished canvas to a frame shop or use a standard 12 x 16 in (30 x 40 cm) frame. Keep the piece out of direct sun so the colors stay true. To clean, dust lightly with a soft dry cloth. Do not use water or household cleaners on the diamonds or the canvas.
Store leftover diamonds in a labeled bag or small container by color.
Round diamonds have a little more space between them than square ones, which makes them easier to place and adjust. They still give full coverage across the pasting area. For a first-timer, that means fewer frustrating moments and a finished piece that looks even. The 30 to 45 colors keep the sky and trees from looking flat, and the full pasting area means no bare canvas shows through.
Yes. The skill level is first-timer, and the round diamonds are easier to place than square ones. The printed canvas shows you exactly where each color goes.
