What this kit is

This is a diamond art kit made from your own photo. You send the image, and it becomes a printed canvas with a full coverage chart of symbols. Every symbol matches one color of resin drill. You pick up each drill with the applicator tool and press it onto the canvas. The result is a glossy, textured picture built from thousands of small faceted pieces.

The canvas is printed on quality equipment so the symbols stay clear while you work. The drills are resin, cut with a facet that catches light. Kits use 30 to 45 drill colors, chosen to match the tones in your photo.

What is in the box

Every kit ships with the same core items:

  • Printed canvas with your photo as the chart
  • Resin drills in 30 to 45 colors
  • Applicator tool
  • Tray
  • Wax

The canvas ships rolled up to avoid creases. Let it rest flat for a while before you start, and the surface will settle.

Drill shape and size options

You choose the drill shape and the finished size.

Square drills line up edge to edge and give a full, mosaic look with almost no gaps. Round drills leave tiny spaces between pieces and can be a little more forgiving for a first project. Both shapes use the same printed canvas and the same color count.

Sizes run from small pieces for a desk or shelf to large panels for a wall.

A larger size holds more detail from your photo. A smaller size keeps the project quick and works well for a simple, close-up image.

How to use it

Work in small sections. Peel back a corner of the protective film, place drills for that area, then move on. Pour a few drills into the tray and shake it gently so the pieces settle face up. Press the tip of the applicator tool into the wax, then touch it to a drill. The wax holds the drill long enough to set it on the canvas.

Start with one color at a time, or work block by block. Both methods work. Take breaks, and keep the rest of the canvas covered so dust stays off the sticky surface.

When the last drill is placed, press the whole surface down with a flat hand or a rolling pin over a sheet of paper. This seats the drills evenly.

Care and display

Keep the finished piece out of direct sun so the colors hold. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth. If a drill sits crooked, lift it with the applicator tool and press it again.

A finished diamond painting can lean on a shelf, sit in a frame, or be mounted on a board. No frame is included, so you can choose the finish that suits the room.

Choosing a photo

Strong contrast and a clear subject read best. Faces, pets, weddings, and travel shots all work well. Busy backgrounds with many small details can blur together at small sizes, so a larger canvas helps. Cropping close to the subject usually gives a cleaner result than a wide shot with lots of empty space.

Questions

How do I send my photo for a custom kit?

Choose your drill shape and size, then upload the photo you want turned into the chart. A clear, well lit image with one main subject works best.

Should I pick square or round drills?

Square drills fit edge to edge for a full mosaic look. Round drills leave small gaps and can be easier to place. Both use the same canvas and 30 to 45 colors.

What comes in the kit?

Each kit includes the printed canvas, resin drills in 30 to 45 colors, an applicator tool, a tray and wax. The canvas ships rolled up to avoid creases.

How do I keep the canvas flat?

The canvas arrives rolled up. Unroll it and let it rest flat for a while before you start. The surface settles and the chart stays easy to read.
